World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
item upgrading can be found on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it will gain an initial damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects, while others offer additional attributes. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it is able to be upgraded with a different one, but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item the item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon's level.
Once the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. All of these upgrades can be applied at once and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the kind of damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can improve your armour defense and finally the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon prior to any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of specific pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level following an upgrade. Most armor types are upgradeable, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.
item upgrading provide a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. However, some upgrade components can give significant improvements in defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, like reducing the amount of damage that is taken when wearing armor, or giving you a a chance to dodge attacks.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require several tries. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations contains an incredibly fair that can upgrade a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. Certain armors give a substantial increase in the ability to reduce the damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them beneficial for certain builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effects, and is able to be repeated for more potencies.
The potion also gains a custom color code, that the player can pick using /give and which affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness are now available. Added lingering potions that can be prepared using splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket could be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag used to identify a vessel's yard that is lateen. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze which makes them more prevalent. This trinket at the moment, makes all types of mimics more prevalent and gives every floor an A% chance that it will contain an ebony copy. This trinket is priced at a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic from this enchanted scepter appears to affect the dungeon itself, making it more likely to generate water and grass. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are generated to help solve the dangers in rooms.
While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to affect your vision in ways that go beyond merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, increases the health benefits gained from drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and in chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket that needs to be upgraded put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have an effect on the trinket and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the trinket as often as you like however it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by a small amount.
